Elegant Beautiful Wire-wrapped Earrings ::: Day 7

Handmade Copper and Gemstone Chandelier Earrings

These intricate handmade copper chandelier earrings are a mix of my Moroccan Lace technique and a copper vine design I have used in the past. Beautiful, flashy blue Labradorite beads adorn these rustic, earthy earrings, making them fit for a Goddess. They display a stunning variety of patinas from deep brown from liver of sulfur to a cherry red from the flame of the torch. They measure approximately 2 1/2" from the tips of the handcrafted copper ear wires.

More about Heidi Kinnally...

I am a stay at home mother of 5 great children. I have always found myself drawn to jewelry making and finally have started to give myself a creative outlet. Most of the techniques I use are self-taught through reading, Internet tutorials, and trial and error. I have had some metal smithing training at Kendall School of Art in Design in Grand Rapids, MI, and I continue to take classes whenever something comes up that I think would be beneficial to me as an artist.

Equinox. Earrings.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, and will be (eventually) returning to school for a degree in English-Creative Writing, or Graduate degree in painting. I currently work at a fantastic natural foods market in Boone, NC.

I love making beaded jewelry and collecting all kinds of little treasures for my bead box. There are way too many gorgeous gems and beads out there to deny my habit!

Check these out...Resin Cubes ::: Day 5

Botanical Resin Earrings. Real Flower Earrings. Pink Pressed Flower Earrings. Handmade Resin Jewelry with Real Flowers - Salmon Phlox
I'm an artist, mom and wife living in Asheville, NC. In the last ten years I've worked as a corporate attorney, started a family, trained a few horses, launched a cut flower business on the family farm, explored most of the mountain bike trails in Western North Carolina, and designed and sold jewelry from my home studio near downtown Asheville. Using the name of the family flower farm, Spotted Dog Farm, I sell my contemporary botanical jewelry at galleries in downtown Asheville, regional art shows and on Etsy. It's a full life, and I love it!

Purple feathers??? day 4

Today we are featuring earrings made by Earthgoddess and her Fancy FeatheredFriends With Gardening Guinea Gifts (in her own words). She would also like to tell you a bit about herself.

Hello My name is Amanda,

I enjoy living in the county with my son the animals and all of nature,  I started making feather earrings about 6years ago and have just recently started selling them.  I love being creative and making things.  I have birds who live free range and happy they have neat feathers and leave them to use, along with yummy eggs.  All feathers are UV Sanitized.   Because of the diversity in Nature, no two will be the same, which is part of the beauty in using natural material in my handmade arts and crafts.

Featured here are one of my favorites, they really stand out with colors that just pop and fly away curves that are unique and stylish.

Material and features are:
Mother of pearl stars, Hot Pink and Black Feathers 3 1/2" long, Funky and Fun, Silver Wire wrapped, UV sanitized, and Surgical Steel Ear-Wires*

Happy New Year! 2012

This is the first feature for the blog and I wanted to bring in the New Year with a Jingle! I love these ornament earrings and thought I would share.

Meet Teresa Penrose...a little bit of information about her in her own words.

"I began making jewelry in 2008.  It all started because I'd been looking for a pair of earrings to match a ring I had.  One day I had walked into a Tall Mouse craft store to purchase a frame, when I saw their Bead Lounge.  I decided I would make my own earrings and so took a class to learn.  I loved it so much, I took another class, and another, and another.  Next thing I knew I was hooked!  I love creating new and beautiful items.  Most of my jewelry can be on the expensive side, so this year I decided to create some festive and affordable earrings just for Christmas.  I started wearing them where I work and I've had many sales that way!  I'm trying to keep each pair unique - as you can see in the pictures listed."

You can visit Teresa on the web through her blog and Etsy shops:
